The VP4651 is a revision of the VP4650 which features an upgraded Intel 10th Generation CPU, i5-10310U, otherwise its virtually the same as the previous VP4650 with 6x Intel i226-V 2.5GbE Network ports, NVMe storage, and DDR4 DRAM. eMMC is not included to reduce costs. If eMMC is a requirement please reach out to sales for build-to-order options.
The Vault is a small form network appliance built for use as a firewall / router, virtualization platform, a daily-driven personal computer, and more. The VP4600 line is the second phase of the Vault Pro series with higher performance and newer technology than the original FW series.
The Vault uses standard Intel CPU and network ports which results in compatibility with a large variety of operating systems, including a number of open source firewall projects. The Vault is fanless so it has no moving parts, which results in an incredibly durable platform that can be used in less than ideal environments. Its all aluminum enclosure (no plastic here) is a giant heat sink, keeping the CPU cool.
The VP4651 can accommodate up to 64GB DDR4 RAM in 2x DDR4 SODIMM slots and has an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD storage slot. There are also standard SATA data and power connectors and mounting brackets for an optional internal 2.5″ SATA SSD. To see more visit our VP4600 Hardware Overview here.
